My Diploma First Year Life

I told you already for the first year is common for all branch people. So I our class was filled around 60 students. In the beginning I was find a difficulty to mingle with all the people in my class, but day to day routine I was getting close to all of them. Here come the hostel groups they stayed very close to first year class room, yes ! in fact which is opposite to the class which is dormitory. The following guys in our batch was hostlers

Tamilalagan, Ravikumar, Anguraj, Sidthanadhakumar and Raja - All EEE
Arivumani, Reghu, Kanagaraj, Palanivel and venkatesh - All MECH
Balaji, Marusamy, (--------------) - All CSE

while at starting periods I was very close to my nearer bench mets, specially chandru, Baskar, Dhanasekar, ponnu samy, Arivumani, kanagaraj and Nerashkumar. During those days something I have to tell you, like me each of them they formed small groups. Which is based on hostler, department etc. But for me when I joined this college I dont feel like to be a single group so I was getting to close with all those people. But where as one fellow Ezhil always dominating all the ppl. I dont like in the starting itself but chandru always mingle with those groups. Since all of them CSE more over all those girls are belongs only CSE. So getting to close with girls which is very much competition all around us. due to girls count is very low whereas only 5. I am not interested to getting with them, but obviously I used to talk to sungathi since she was my school class met last five year. But I never talked with her in school, also she is quite silent. when I was seen my college she was talking to all of them almost. More over she came by bus with us so she was very close to me.

Hostler's very much close after some days passed in first year, Which is specially due to " karuvayan Ravi " He looks black but he is really a gold personality. Because of him I changed my self lot.

My Diploma College Life – 1999 to 2002 at Manikkampalayam

This was very bad time for me, since everyone at this age had dad support to join colleges. But that time I was really miss my dad, also no knowledge about colleges anyway I found one new Polytechnic college very near to my place. First time I went there found incomplete infrastructure, but the college fee is very much suitable people like me. I purchased application form and back to my house, after two days my mom arranged money along with my grandfather also came to college for joining. That was the day myself entering to the college life also very happy, since I feel after tenth standard joined college. But all my schoolmate’s were join 11^th standard in different schools.

The same time our village cricket getting growth day by day, that all due our friends. Those were natraj, prabhu and my big brother, also kumarasamy he was one of our neighborer recently came to our village. His house was opposite to our house so most of times always we people easily mingle with each other. The same time one of our friend Prabhu was always with us, if any cricket match is there means all together spend full time in our house to watch the match till to the end. Also every weekend all friends always gather in our village “ Iaiyangkaadu” ground, which was the place had lots of waste land with wonderful layout for cricket as well as to feed grass for goats.

So when I was going to my college, I have to catch bus from small town kumaramangalam. For that daily I used to go bicycle upto kumaramangam and park my cycle in stand and then I catch my regular bus mostly either 'PSK' or 'Bharani' these two buses only most convenient for my college time. Mostly I wish to go PSK if I missed this then Bharani Bus, by traveling these two buses those times me and my friends are very close to those transport drivers, conductors and ladies college girls.

My college name " Bharath polytechnic " I selected DEEE course in the year 1999. During the first day of my college, when I reached the class room there I found my 10th class met miss.Suganthi in CSE. But for all departments 1st year was common class. So I was really happy to have one my school met in there. I took my place middle row second bench. Since I am very short in height so sit front rows. The same bench I got Dhana sekar (very much short) and Chandru he look like very elder person. Beside my bench Bhaskar & Ponusamy. In front Kanagaraj & Arivumani. But this oder was changed by our maths mam, due our poor maths score. I still have memories in my mind. The following staffs had taken our first year class.

Missing Incidents of School life with local Friends

Apart part from School, I had lots of local friends in our village. Normally those who all studied village school were locals only. But someone joined different school, anyway school holidays all play together in our village only. Normally that time we play cricket that was the time all our friends getting much interest in cricket. All because of Natraj, Prabhu and my brother senthil. They all seen all matches which India played those times, due to that myself also got interested. But during that time we don’t have any kits to play, only thing we prepared cocknet waste leave as a bat and rubber ball. Almost all the places of our waste land we made it cricket ground. Sometime all played 7star game also. After School I used to come by kailasam palayam route, there one of our village brothers had TV repair workshop. If school evening group studies not there means, I came early that shop and started chat with them for some time. Due that I got much interest in electronics. There after I started to repair our radios and others also.

That was the inspiration later I came to study Electrical and Electronics engineering. Because of that only 10^th school summer holidays I went job for Murugan electric re winding works at Tiruchengode. There I learned about electrical basics of motors and related trouble shooting techniques. Those days I go to job morning 8.0 AM and return very late night, but all bicycling only. When I am studying 9th my brother was studying 12^th std in St.Pauls School Salem in hostel, yes along with him Sangetha brother also studied there. But during that time I was not interested to study 11^th & 12^th, since me too afraid of maths. So I planned to join directly diploma in Electrical and electronics. Also I got results with 67% marks only. But Sangetha got 96% I never worried about that, I started to search Polytechnic collages near to our circle. While I am joining to polytechnic my brother was studying first year BSC computer science in KSR College.

Very sad part of my Life - Loss of Dad 30/07/1999

Now I have to share some thing about my dad, he was very hard working person in our village. As I know he never spend money for unnecessary things. Obviously he spends right time for right things like he gifted bicycle, when I joined secondary schooling at Tiruchengode. After long time our family never had any domestic home appliances, at first he spend money for that in the year 1995 for gas connection. And followed by next year brought wet grinder. That time mom got relief from smokes and very happy for welcome changes of dad. But only the thing our demand is that TV. Dad told all time, once he will buy both of us won’t study well. But due to frequent compulsion of us finally he brought big 21” inch Onida TV in the year 1998. Also brought it new TVS XL that two wheeler is his dreams I think so, yes once brought new TVS within few months itself it was theft by someone in market. There after he was very upset mentally and day by day his behaviour was totally changed. Abnormally he was afraid unnecessary things, at lost he took pesticide and recovered after one month. Later on within few days itself got the same worst behaviour again, finally we put him nature curing place at Kuttraalam. After few months somewhat recovered. But in those times no one face such situations, what our family faced it. We lost our money, happiness almost everything in our family among our close relatives. In that all those helps done by uncle and grandfather only. But controlling of dad only me, since he never listen any of others. Even food also I used to give then only he will eat otherwise wont, likewise days going on very sadly. Daily he sleeps with me in our outside cottage, in that day night (30.07.1999) when I awake for go to piss, found above my bad my dad foots touching my head. That was big shock he was hanged himself from the roof by using steel wire. I shouted loudly and cried, then my mom and brother came from house and seen it. That was the moment I lost all my hopes of life, since no one had such a experience at the age of 15. There after I never cry due to very hard incident of my dad loss, which makes my heart very hard.

There after I am not getting interested to pray Gods. I go temple along with my mom that’s it. I know my dad loved me more than my mom and brother. Now I am really missing my dad when someone telling about his/her dad.

Life history - Upto Secondary schooling level

In our village school have up to fifth standard only, if want to study higher secondary level education need to go near the town. For that need, some local transport to go to school. In those times our village don’t have to bus facilities. So mostly all people will go to town by own vehicles, that also bicycle only. Due to that I started practice to ride the bicycle. Nevertheless, I was the small height, not able to ride from top of the triangle frame. Do that I managed ride bicycle by single pedaling only. Elder brother used to ride easily also he got the new bicycle, but I couldn’t go along with him. Since he joined other village government schools, but my dad put me in town Christian strict school. After joining school up to six months I went to school by my dad big bicycle with single pedaling only.

I still remember myself written entrance exam for that Christian school. Myself and sangeetha both written exams, finally I got average mark its lesser than what sangeetha got it. Due to that my dad told about poor study and careless in maths to HM. He said we have medicine to cure also given small pinching in my stomach, I won’t forget it incident until now. Later we all totally five of them stared to go to school by bicycle in that Mohan kumar, Nagaraj and Raj kumar all our seniors. For that me and sangeetha only the same batch. After six months I got small bicycle, there after I used to rock on roads while going School. Yes, our gang of four guys will tie hand together and go to parallel, but followed by us sangeetha also came by cycle. While some time she loss control and hit us on back and fall down, these were happened many times. In school, I put of boys class(C) and Sangeetha in girl class(A). There after I started to study somewhat ok compare to my village school, since in exams I won’t get answer paper from sangee also always remember HM pinching punishment. In 6^th std our class teacher is Mrs.Fathima, she is very good teacher and handled subject Tamil. One thing forgotten to tell you guys, I am poor writing in Tamil and always make spell mistakes. One day in the exam myself written my name instead of kalaikovan I wrote kalaikeyvan. There after she used to call me always keyvan. Moreover, I wanted to tell something about math teacher, whatever. she is teaching in boards nothing understandable. Obviously bright students replying her questions myself always sitting blind and did useless chatting. In addition, everyone knows she is not a good teacher, what can I do my fate, we got the same teacher up to 10^th std. However, I got some average scores in maths with help of our friends Logesh, Chandran and Senthil. Other than maths and English I got very good marks in other subjects, my favorite paper are science. When up to 8^th standard our group of friends will sit lunch time at front side gate of our School campus, which was very much helpful to go outside get some local foot called “ Paniyaaram “ easily. All of our mates very fond of that dish which available our school gate prepared by local lady. Also there very opposite our class another Sangetha house also there. Since some time I go to home by that way also.

I still remember my science teacher Mr.Gnanadurai very fond of me in our class among the others. That’s what he put the leader in the science period for a period of time. After 8^th one of new classmate joined from MDV School, his name is sathish kumar. He studied very well in all subjects but only thing his hand writing is very bad, I hope now here got improved. After he came our team become the big gang of talkies, yes we kalai[katiyan], Logesh[kundan], sathish[mandiayn], chandran, dhanapal, senthil[bondi] and sivaraman as gangsters. The other gang was suresh[mesakaaran], serni, sasikumar, murugan, suresh[kannaadi]. Our quite relative gang is Ravikumat, karthikeyan, ganapathy, anbalagan. Likewise, 6 gangs formed and sit always below the tress of our school campus during lunch hours and share the food daily. The same group of people maintained up to 10 std. I have forgotten to tell you guys, in those days myself, chandran and sivaraman participated in member of school sweet selling shop. Yes, that it was headed one of our teachers and put us to maintain sales while in interval periods. Due to this we bung the class to go arranging those items daily, more over we eat lots of sweets in three years of school life. Apart from these activities, I joined Bharath scouts also, and went two five days camp in Salem. During second five day camp I went to JKK School in Sangagiri, at the time the first day of camp all boys get wake up early to take the bath. However, in that school I don’t know the bathrooms for boys, so I and my friend searched and found it. We started to take the batch nude, after some time one girl opened from the toilet, and came by nude that was the big shock. Certainly, we catch our clothes and run away. Nevertheless, that is first time I have seen a girl in full nude, I don’t know what to say. After that we didn’t disclose to anyone until now. However, it was a good and funny memory in my life.

Lot of thing was happen when all came to 10^th standard, since up to 9^th boys and girls were separate class. But in tenth combined with only two sections, in that mostly all C class students put up in 10-B. I prayed don’t put Sangee to my class, since she always got first rank but I will get above tenth rank only. These was big issue in my house, anyway lots of problem due to dad health. So no one care about my study at time. When girls came lots of image clash between both sides every time. But secretly some boys got love affair also, since our class got some got figures namely Manju, Jamunarani, Sasikala, Bhuvana and Neelavathy. But the top list Manju only, almost all of our class boys had crush with her. But no one worked it out. Girls side manju was the leader and boys side Logesh was the leader. Last bench always create problems against girls most of time that hit leader will be Sureshkumar. But they put all those faults to front bench Suresh along with Chandran also got punishment. Since he was his bench met also when jokes cracked these two guys laugh loudly. Here I wanted to tell something about Sathish whenever jokes cracked he was respond very lately. Obviously someone need to explain jokes the n only he will laugh, that also forgotten the class himself laugh loudly when everyone silent in class.

Some thing was missed to tell you guys, when at the end of our 10^th std all of our friends went all of our group friends house and spend a day. I remembered at first went to Bondi house, which is back side of our School campus called weavers colony. There lots of our Schoolmate studied, yes obviously those people are Bondi, Sivaraman, Suresh, Kumareysan, Arunachalam, and Saravanan. After visiting Bondi house all started ride our bicycle and reached Chandran house and there we played cricket match and took food in his home and back. Then after that my house, while visited Logesh house. That was the fine memory for all of us lifetime.

Life history - Upto primary schooling level

Fine rainy day evening, that it was 23^rd Nov 1983. I was born as a second baby of Mr.Shanmugam and Mrs.Sampooranam, that was the small village called Sakthinaickan Palayam. This is located in Namakkal district in Tamil Nadu, basically our origin is the fully agricultural village and each family doing former work only. Basically our family was lower middle class Tamil traditional family. Normally that circle belongs to kongu gounder community people. Our family had 12 acres of agriculture land and doing cultivation and earning it. That time we had own cows, bulls, goats and hen, etc. It was mostly common all of our village family had it, and because of that only getting earned something to help our life cycle.

Those days and even now also I look little less fair than my elder brother. About this my mom told me that, I look like my grandma and my brother look like our grandpa. I heard our grandpa is very fair, I didn’t remember his face, since he was died when I was a baby. However, I still remember grandma, she is with us up to some time when I started going to my primary school. Myself and my brother studied in our village primary school, along with us all our village family children’s studied there only. Namely, the following friends studied our village school.

Indra, Boopathy, Mohan kumar, Prabhu, Karthikeyan, Sangeetha, Arul kumar, Hema latha, Sathish kumar, Suresh, Sudha, Sernivasan, Rajkumar and Nagaraj all of them studied there only,

However, batch is two three years different. When I was studying in school as an average student only, but compare to me my brother is clavered in all aspects of study. I am always used to roaming in our village pounds, lakes, small bangs of village barrier waste land. Yes, that time I am good honey hunter but the worst part is that sometimes the honey bee bites me frequently. Whenever it was happening, I got scolded by dad seriously. I love nature basically, and my friend Mathivaanan too likes that, we both done lots of tree plantations in our school campus. During school annual exams I studied casual in addition I am very weak in maths, during exams, I directly copy the answer sheet of our class sangeetha. In this regard, she is very co operative she is a very good and outstanding girl in our school.

After school daily evening, we have routine house hold jobs to do., Yes both myself and my brother to feed food to all goat’s, for that we bring our goats to our village lake field. Furthermore, other fellow village friends bring their goat’s there, Frequently Indra, sangeetha, arul, hema, revathy sister etc., will gather that is the big play ground to play hide and seek game, mostly will play the game when girls is there. Some time boys will play 7 star games also. That time revathy sister is heading for all of us, since is too talkative. I remember along with her another two of them will wear half saris. That was the fine memory I had it now.

Our village have Hindu temple, for that every year celebrate festival. During festivals all village ppl houses decorated and make lots of sweets, more over the highlight was every day night of festival put films. Normally it displayed late 9.30PM onwards, for that all our friends keep awake to watch the movies till morning time. Ya., I had very good memory of Rajini kanth movie “Thalapathy”. Apart from study I used help dad agricultural works, our family used to cultivate rice in that time. For that my dad used to prepare our land by using bull’s, in that time I used to work along with dad. After finishing work we used to clean our bulls in lake. There I try to swim some times, since that place only don’t have deep in water. Then my dad told me he will going to teach swimming in our well.
